PRIDE 2008 I wish to extend a heartfelt welcome to all who have gathered for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Celebrations! The Pride Celebrations have served to unite millions of Americans in allowing individuals to promote and celebrate their identities as members of the GLBT community. This tremendous organization and celebrations like these have helped to create a shift in America towards tolerance, progress, and acceptance.
